24 weeks, ten phases

Five classes a week, two hours a day. Every phase closes with an assignment or a live project.

Week 01 – 02

Phase 1 · Introduction to project management

Fundamentals — what is project management, the role of a project manager, the Software Development Life Cycle, types of projects

Methodology and documentation — Agile vs Waterfall, the project lifecycle, project documentation

Assignment — create a project charter and scope document
Week 03 – 04

Phase 2 · Communication and stakeholder management

Communication — professional communication, client communication, meeting management, email and documentation

Stakeholders — stakeholder identification, requirement gathering, conflict resolution

Assignment — conduct a mock client meeting
Week 05 – 06

Project planning (basics)

Work Breakdown Structure, project estimation, timeline planning and milestone creation, practised in ClickUp and Trello. Advanced estimation, resource allocation, risk and budgeting are covered in the Professional and Career Pro plans.

Week 07 – 08

Agile and Scrum (basics)

Agile principles, the Scrum framework, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, product backlog, user stories and Kanban, run in Jira and Trello.
